Application of cinnamon oil

Cinnamon essential oil has a wide application: from all familiar aroma lamps to cosmetic procedures. If you are bitten by a mosquito or other insect, gently moisten the cotton swab in undiluted oil and apply only to the bite site.

In most procedures, cinnamon oil is combined with a so-called base. It can be both vegetable oil and cream. If you take 15 ml of conventional vegetable oil and mix in it three drops of cinnamon oil, then this mixture can be used for grinding with rheumatism, as well as for treating bruises and abrasions. When you want to get rid of bleeding gums, make such a rinse aid: in 1 cup of boiled water add two drops of oil. Caress this mixture of your mouth two or three times a day and you will forget about the existence of such a problem.

You can use cinnamon essential oil to enhance hair growth, as it has the property of improving blood circulation. To do this, you need to prepare a mixture of the base jojoba oil, which is added to four drops of clove oil, cinnamon, rosemary and juniper. Use it as a mask for hair.

Cinnamon essential oil is also beneficial for the face. With it, you can make a real cream at home. Here are a few recipes:

  1. In one tablespoon of almond oil, add one teaspoonful of jojoba and 2-3 drops of cinnamon oil. The mixture is applied to the cleansed face and washed off after 30-40 minutes. If you do not have allergies, then you can leave it for the night. It perfectly improves complexion and is suitable for all skin types, except sensitive.
  2. For oily skin, you can make a mixture with grape seed oil. For this, 2 drops of cinnamon oil are added to 1 tablespoon of oil from the bones. The mixture is applied to the face for a minimum of 30-40 minutes. It can also be washed off or left until the morning.
  3. For oily skin, you can prepare a tonic. In a glass of chilled green tea, add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice or vodka and 3-4 drops of cinnamon essential oil. After wiping, this mixture eliminates greasy shine, the skin becomes more dull, its color improves.
  4. To rinse your face or rub it, you can use a tonic - add two teaspoons of salt, a few drops of iodine, a teaspoonful of citric acid and 5-6 drops of cinnamon oil in half a liter of cold, clean water (not from the tap). Use it only after dissolving the salt.

Do not use cinnamon essential oil if you are sensitive to skin, allergies, and during pregnancy. Also, you do not need to apply oil to people with high blood pressure and with nervous exhaustion.
