Before cooking corn in a microwave without water, the cob should be cut off from excess stigma sticking from above, dry leaves must be removed, but young and green can be left. Spread the 3-4 cobs on any suitable cookware in the microwave oven so that they do not touch each other. Thanks to the latter during the preparation of heat, microwaves will be distributed evenly and all grains are cooked. Put the dishes in the microwave, select the maximum power and set the timer for 5 minutes. In the middle of cooking, turn the corn on the other side. Corn in a microwave cooked for 5 minutes remains juicy and soft, but if the grains are firm, then cook the head for another minute.

Similar to the corn leaf effect can be achieved with a simple baking package, which will also hold and condense moisture around the ears throughout the cooking. Set the power level of the microwave oven to 800W. Cut the cabbage into slices and place in a bag for baking, fixing it with special clips on both sides. If you bought old cobs or just used to cook corn in the old manner, adopt this cooking technology. Within its framework, the cobs are cooked in cleaned dishes filled with water. The cooking lasts about 40 minutes at a power of 800 watts. During the whole cooking, make sure that the water does not boil away and the cobs are always covered with it, and therefore, if necessary, pour boiling water into the dishes. After cooking leave the corn in water for 10 minutes, and then remove, allow the cobs to dry and grate them with oil and salt before serving. If desired, the ready-made corn can be sprinkled with cheese, sprinkled with lime juice or poured with your favorite sauce, and then re-placed in the microwave for another half a minute, so that the selected topping impregnated the cob.
