Cooking can be done in many ways, with the exception of frying. The basis of a diet with an atrophic gastritis with a low acidity is soups prepared on low-fat broth. Meat and fish cook or bake. Fruits can be eaten in any quantity, but from vegetables it is best to make mashed potatoes. It is important to exclude foods that contain high amounts of fiber. It is necessary to abandon too acidic foods. Bread should be slightly dried and it is better to limit the amount of rye baking. As for cereals, it is best to give preference to oatmeal, buckwheat and rice. Exclude from the menu is smoked, salted and dishes with lots of spices. After severe restrictions, you can add a little fried and fatty to the diet.

The daily diet menu for gastritis with a low acidity can look like this:

Breakfast : a portion of oatmeal, bread with cheese, 1 tbsp. carrot juice with cream, coffee.

Snack : yoghurt.

Lunch : mushroom soup, schnitzel with potato puree, tomato and greens salad, which is dressed with olive oil, jelly and mors.

Snack : broth from bran and bread .

Dinner : fish baked in the oven, with stewed vegetables and tea.

Before going to sleep : 1 tbsp. kefir.
