Summer Cocktails - Recipes

In most cultures in the summer on warm and hot days it is customary to drink cool refreshing drinks, including cocktails.

Suppose you have guests at the dacha, family or children's party (birthday of the child), a buffet dinner, a friendly or romantic dinner, in general, the occasion can be anything. To such cases, you can prepare light refreshing delicious summer cocktails, suitable recipes are known for a great variety.

You can use not only the classic well-known recipes, cocktails - an interesting and spacious for fantasy theme, most importantly, consider the compatibility and authentic affinity of the products. Cocktail "Gin-tonic"

Drinks should be cooled (if not in time - add ice). Mix gin and tonic in the desired proportion (best 1: 3). We adorn with a slice of lemon. This drink, in some way, protects against various intestinal infections. If you do not find a ready-made tonic, it can be replaced with homemade lemonade (lemon + water, maybe fresh ginger and sugar).

Cocktail "Dry martini"

A well-cooled gin is mixed with white vermouth, poured into a cocktail glass, to the bottom we place a young olive. Side decorate a glass of slice of lemon. If the drinks did not have time to cool before mixing, you can serve a dry martini in the glasses of the "toggle" shape and add 2 ice cubes.

Cocktails based on rum (light and golden) can be prepared by simply mixing them with fruit juices (preferably tropical). Dark varieties of rum are more suitable for cocktails with cold tea, coffee and chocolate, however, this is not a strict rule.

Cocktail "Dark-n-Stormy" (Dark'n'Stormy)

Cucumber-lemon refreshing cocktail

Cucumbers are washed, cut off the tips, crushed with a knife as small as possible and placed in a jug. 1 lemon and lime will be doused with boiling water, cut each fruit in half along, and then - into thin slices and also put in a jug. Fill all the water. Close the jug and put in the refrigerator for 40 to 80 minutes. When the infusion has cooled, in your opinion, it is enough, we add to it a fresh juice, squeezed out of 1 lemon. We mix and filter. We serve in high glasses. Excellent drink for harmony and good skin tone.

Cold tea with currant leaves

Ingredients:

Brew tea at the rate of 1 teaspoon per 150-200 ml. Add the currant leaves (they can be crushed slightly). Currant leaves will give a special touch to the taste and aroma of the cocktail.

We insist tea for 10-15 minutes, then merge with tea leaves, strain. If you need sugar, then dissolve it, while the tea is hot. We cool first to room temperature, then in the refrigerator. Of course, you can add to this tea freshly squeezed lemon juice, cherries or raspberries.
