Kissel is a delicious and healthy drink, which is increasingly being prepared from store concentrates. But it's quite easy to make it from starch and fresh berries. We will share with you several recipes, with which you can prepare a natural and fragrant drink.

How to make kisel from starch? Berries are washed, poured into a saucepan, filled with filtered water and put on fire. Starch dilute in a small amount of liquid and mix well. As soon as the liquid with berries starts to boil, we cover the sugar and mix it thoroughly. Then, gradually with a thin trickle, we introduce a starch mixture, bring it to a boil and remove the saucepan from the plate. We pour out the ready berry jelly from the starch in glasses and serve it to the table, until the drink has not yet covered with a film.

Kissel from compote and starch

To prepare the jelly from the starch compote poured into a saucepan and put on medium fire. This time, cut into thin slices of lemon, or simply squeeze out the juice from it. Starch is bred in a small amount of water. Once the compote boils, reduce the flame, pour out a thin trickle starch mixture and lemon juice, and mix thoroughly. Boil the jelly until it boils again, mix again and taste, adding immediately sugar and any spices as you wish.

Thick jelly from starch and jam

For the beginning we pour out water and red wine into a saucepan, put the dishes on a weak fire and turn on the flame for a minimum. While the liquid is heated, we take out the fruits from the jam and leave only the sweet syrup. Now we dilute starch in water and pour into a saucepan, pour out the sugar, add the syrup and cook the drink for about 10 minutes, stirring regularly. Then we cool it, distribute it in portions, and serve the finished jelly on the table.

Cranberry jelly from starch

We carefully sort the berries, rinse them under hot water, put them in a bowl and knead it thoroughly with a spoon. Then pour half a cup of cold boiled water, grate the berries through a sieve or squeeze through gauze. Berry squeezes pour 2 glasses of water, put on fire and boil for about 5 minutes, then filter. In the prepared broth we put sugar, we pour the diluted potato starch and, stirring, we give liquids again to boil. In a ready kissel of berries and starch pour in cranberry juice and mix well.

The recipe for cherry kissel from starch

Cherry well rinsed in cold water, take out carefully the bones, pour the sugar and in this form leave for 30 minutes. During this time, we mix the berry mass several times with a spoon, so that more juice is released, which is then poured into a separate glass. The berries are mashed again, poured hot water, boiled and filtered through gauze. Then pour the diluted starch, again bring to a boil, remove from the fire, pour the berry juice and mix.
