Beef in foil in oven

Baked meat is an excellent alternative to industrial sausages and unlike the latter it brings our body not only a taste of pleasure, but also a benefit.

Today we will tell you how to cook beef in the oven. Despite the peculiarity of this meat to remain stiff in many dishes, with this method of preparation it turns out to be especially gentle and soft.

A piece of beef pulp is washed well and wiped dry with paper towels or napkins. In the bowl, combine ground paprika, coriander, black and fragrant pepper and nutmeg, add powdered onion, garlic, marjoram, mustard and salt. Fill the spicy mixture with olive oil and mix. The resulting gruel rubbed on all sides of the beef slice and leave at room temperature for at least three hours. You can, of course, immediately start cooking, but in this case, the dish in its finished form will lose its taste.

As you noticed, there is salt in this marinade, which is somewhat contrary to many recommendations for baking beef in foil in the oven. It is believed that the dish should be salted before serving, otherwise the meat will lose more juice and get a little dryish. If you want to get the most juicy meat, and you do not mind the fact of a separate salt supply, then marinate beef without her participation.

Put the marinated meat on a sheet of foil, folded in half, cover with the same double sheet and seal it well on the sides. We place the beef in foil on a baking tray and set it on an average level of the oven preheated to 200 degrees. How much to bake meat in foil, you must determine yourself depending on the thickness of the piece, the features of the oven and, of course, on the desired softness. On average, it takes sixty-ninety minutes.

If desired, you can remove the top sheet of foil, raise the pan to the uppermost level of the oven and bake the beef under the grill to the desired degree of browning.

How to cook beef in oven in foil in soy-garlic marinade?

A slice of beef is washed and well dried. A marinade for beef, for cooking it in an oven in foil will be in this case a mixture of soy sauce with spices. To make it, we clean the cloves of garlic, place them on a cutting board, cover it with a food film and break it until we get a gruel. Transfer the garlic mass into the bowl, pour in soy sauce, pour in the zir, dried basil, coriander, ground black and red hot pepper, mix and soak the resulting marinade beef for three hours at room temperature or seven hours in the fridge, periodically turning over.

After the time has passed, we place the meat on a double leaf of the foil, pour out the remains of the marinade, lubricate the beef from all sides with olive oil and cover with the second same double cut of the foil. Seal the sheets on each side, press them slightly to the meat and place on a baking sheet, at an average level heated to 200 degrees oven. In about an hour and a half the baked beef will be ready. If desired, you can unfold the foil and allow the meat to blush from above under the grill.

On readiness, we let the meat rest for about fifteen minutes at room temperature, and then cut it with a sharp knife into portions and can serve.
