Well, when all the dishes on the festive table are beautifully decorated, it creates a special solemn mood. On the New Year's table we prepare dishes, the appearance of which is devoted to the main theme of the holiday. One of these dishes is the New Year's salad "Yelochka", the recipe can be widely varied in terms of ingredients, the main thing - design.

We boil the potato until it is ready, but not digested. Eggs cook hard-boiled, cool, clean. Olives cut into circles, and all other ingredients except greenery, corn and berries - small cubes (side about 0.6-0.8 cm). For this purpose, modern kitchen devices operating in the chopper mode (that is, they cut food on small calibrated pieces).

Now mix all the products, add the mayonnaise and build a cone (hands) on the platter. We decorate the cone with twigs of greenery so that we get a design that looks like a Christmas tree. We cover with mayonnaise and decorate with corn and berries. We put it in the refrigerator or on the glassed unheated balcony so that the salad is frozen, we serve it at 23.45.

You can also use for the New Year's salad "Christmas tree" fruit kiwi, sweet pepper, green onions, fresh cucumbers, broccoli, and in addition - persimmon and tangerines. Instead of potatoes, you can add freshly brewed polenta or glutinous rice to the salad - these are excellent materials for modeling, they harden well and keep the shape.
