Choose a good variety of soft and juicy melon, which we share with a sharp knife in two and remove the whole seed part from it. We cut off the outer layer of coarse skin, and crush the sweet and juicy pulp with slightly elongated pieces, not longer than 4 centimeters. We move them to the bottom of a suitable pan and pour them with boiling sugar syrup, which we previously made from water, sugar and citric acid. We send the container with melon to the plate and as soon as it starts to boil, we introduce here the broken aromatic stick of cinnamon, divided into 4-5 parts, together with the buds of the carnation. We reduce the flame of fire to a minimum and boil melon in syrup for about 13-15 minutes.

Now distribute everything in an equal proportion of pulp and syrup, according to the fried in the oven banks. Next, we seal each container with roasted lids.
