It's no secret that it is in the nutrition of cancer patients that it is possible to maintain the strength of the body and fight cancer. It is very important to monitor your diet and choose only what will benefit, rather than load and require additional forces for digestion.
Diet for cancer patients: a list of prohibitions
Of course, therapeutic nutrition for cancer can not do without its forbidden list. Fortunately, it is not too large:
- refined products;
- all animal fats;
- sugar;
- salt.
Of course, the rejection of this will be quite difficult: we are used to salt everything, and sugar is part of almost all types of desserts. Refined products include oils and semi-finished products, which means that they should be crossed. Animal fats, whether fat, fatty meat or sour cream, are also subject to exclusion from food.

The most important thing on what keeps the whole diet for oncological diseases is the use of only light and natural products. The recommended list includes the following options:
- natural fruit, vegetable and berry juices: apple, carrot, grape, orange, beet or even ground in a blender with water greens.
- vegetables, especially fresh, but also steamed, baked - carrots, beets, cabbage, tomatoes (only cucumbers, rhubarb, eggplants are listed as not recommended);
- various fruits and berries (except strawberries);
- fresh legumes;
- kefir and yoghurt (other dairy products are strictly prohibited during the exacerbation period).
Special food for cancer patients gives some opportunities to increase the diet: after the exacerbation will pass, you can eat fish, cottage cheese, eggs and a little meat.
Nutrition after an oncologic operation
It is very important how you prepare the food. The best option is simply to get a steamer, because the dishes cooked in it are best suited for feeding oncological patients.

It should be understood that all these are options for the cold season, and in summer it is best to eat vegetable and fruit salads with dressing from natural yogurt or natural olive oil with lemon juice and a small amount of rye, bran or whole grain bread.
