Pie on mayonnaise

About 90% of Russians for some reason regularly eat ready (that is, with useless additives) mayonnaise. The level of consumption of this miracle sauce in Russia and some other CIS countries per capita is considered to be one of the highest in the world (the Russian market of mayonnaise is second only to the US market). It would be nice if ate homemade mayonnaise, tasty and relatively useful. Prepare it, by the way, is not at all difficult. And if you get not so thick as ready, well, add the starch. And without chemical additives, you can certainly do without. However, the choice is yours.

Dough with mayonnaise for pie

With a whisk or fork, we can shoot eggs with mayonnaise to a state of homogeneity, and then add baking soda. Gradually pour and mix the flour, necessarily sifted. Ready dough in consistency should resemble a fairly thick sour cream. Salt is not necessary to add: in mayonnaise it is enough.

Pie with cabbage from dough on mayonnaise

For cooking, in addition to the dough, which we already kneaded (see above), you still need the filling.

Finely chopped cabbage we pour boiling water and leave to stand for 5-10 minutes, let it boil. After this time, we will throw it back to the colander.

In a frying pan lightly fry finely chopped onions, add spices, a little cool and mix with cabbage. Now bake a cake. We distribute a layer of dough over the bottom of the greased, fireproof form, then lay out the filler layer and fill it with the second layer of the dough. We bake a pie in a warmed up wind closet for 35-40 minutes. Readiness is determined by appearance and smell.

You can bake a fish pie with a mayonnaise dough, for this we use fish minced from sea fish (hake, cod, perch, pollock, blue whiting, haddock) as a filling. If the stuffing is rather dry, you can add 1 chicken egg to it. We bake in the same way.

Pie with potatoes in mayonnaise - another variation, as a stuffing we use mashed potatoes . Such pies are made quickly and are delicious, and with stuffing you can experiment more and more.
