Salad with spinach

Despite the fact that spinach came to us from the Middle East, every year it is gaining more popularity in our menu. In Europe and the United States, this culture has long been used with success in the preparation of various dishes. They value spinach for the content of carotene, iron, magnesium and, of course, a huge amount of protein. Let's try and prepare a salad with spinach, especially since it can be combined with various vegetable, meat and fish ingredients.

How to prepare a spinach salad?

This culture is good because it perfectly matches almost all products. As we wrote above, in salads with it you can add meat products, seafood, various vegetables - use the ingredients according to season, to taste. A snack salad with spinach is easy to diversify, as the main ingredient of taste has practically no, it is precisely these additional components that create: tomatoes, lemon juice, tuna, shrimps, bacon, radish, cheese, onions.

Some mistresses prefer to throw the leaves in boiling water for a minute for blanching, but you can use fresh spinach, just by brushing it well, rinsing and ripping your hands. If you cut with a knife, then the leaves will darken from contact with metal and can spoil the type of dish.

In addition, spinach is perfectly stored in a frozen form, which means that you can cook it in the cold season. Salad of frozen spinach is prepared just like any salad of fresh spinach, the only difference is that the leaves must be thawed and squeezed out excess liquid. Also it must be remembered that the proportions vary slightly: to prepare a salad of frozen spinach, its amount should be doubled.

Salad with spinach and egg

In this recipe, you can only use eggs, but we suggest adding a few strips of fried bacon to make the dish a little more nutritious.

Spinach sorted, mine, dried and put in a salad bowl. Eggs are boiled to the state of "poached" . Bacon lightly fry in a pan. We add eggs, cut into quarters and bacon to spinach, we make refueling. To do this, mix the wine vinegar, 3 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil and mustard. We fill the salad with fresh spinach, sprinkle with croutons and serve it to the table. You can boil the eggs to a "hard-boiled" state and cut them into small cubes - experiment to your taste.

Salad with spinach and tuna

Since spinach is large enough protein, this makes it well-matched with various seafood.

Leaves of spinach mine and dried, then we rip your hands and put them in a bowl. Drain the liquid from the canned food and knead the tuna, add to the spinach. We fill with lemon juice and a couple of spoons of olive oil. If desired, you can add a couple of small tomatoes, cut into quarters. They will give the dish a brightness, freshness and remarkably complement its taste.

In the same way, you can prepare a salad with spinach and prawns, which will perfectly replace tuna. Shrimp should be blanched in boiling water, drained, peeled and added to the salad bowl to the rest of the ingredients. Then refuel and serve. By the way, a salad with shrimps and spinach will look great on the festive table.
