To date, it is gastric cancer is the most common type among cancer diseases. Usually it spreads quite quickly and can affect the esophagus, liver, lungs and other closely related organs. That is why a diet for stomach cancer is a necessity that should not be neglected in any case.
Diet for stomach and pancreatic cancer
Diet for cancer patients suggests a fairly large list of foods that should be excluded from the diet. These include:
- all kinds of strong meat, mushroom and fish broths;
- any dishes cooked in a frying pan or deep-fried: frying is contraindicated;
- any meat, fish, mushroom, tomato sauces and additives;
- all kinds of smoked products;
- any pickles;
- Products containing many coarse fibers;
- all types of canned food;
- unripe fruit and berries;
- alcohol in all kinds;
- fats of animal origin;
- carbonated drinks and coffee.
The diet with cancer seems quite strict, but, nevertheless, there is a very voluminous list of foods that can be eaten. Diet for cancer disease recommends the following foods and dishes to eat:
- vegetable soups on a weak broth wiped or crushed in a blender;
- liquid, heavily boiled porridge (allowed and wiped);
- soufflé from meat or fish (pre-cooked products are ground with a blender);
- all kinds of vegetable mashed potatoes;
- any mucous cereal soups;
- omelettes, steamed or boiled eggs;
- fresh grated cottage cheese (non-acidic);
- wheat bread (yesterday or dried);
- various milk soups;
- fruit and berry puree, mousse, jelly, kissel;
- mineral water on the recommendation of a doctor;
- weak tea, it is possible with milk;
- vegetable and fresh butter.
If you follow this diet, the cancer will not be too troubling and cause malaise. In this case, do not forget that the food should be divided: small portions of 200-300 grams 5-6 times a day.
Stomach cancer: diet after surgery
After the surgery, any food will very quickly enter the small intestine, causing a feeling of nausea or vomiting from time to time. If the discomfort is very severe, you should eat food while lying in bed, or at least lie down immediately after eating. In general, the recommendations remain the same: you need to eat only soft, low-fat, mashed food every two hours. In addition, you should always forget about any sugar-containing products.
