Any deviation from the norm of sugar in the blood means that diabetes is closer, than further. The constant consumption of light carbohydrates exhausts the pancreas, which has to "plow" without warning. As a result, the sensitivity of the pancreas to sugar falls, so that the development of insulin begins to eat even more sweet, and the result will be complete depletion of the pancreas and loss of function of insulin production. What, in fact, is called diabetes.
With a positive trend in the analysis of blood for glucose, you must urgently switch to a diet that reduces blood sugar. Carelessness, and this case, can cost and life.
Principles of diet
Diet with elevated blood sugar does not mean giving up carbohydrates at all. They are useful and necessary. Just take and replace all the lungs with complex ones:
- sweets can be replaced with sugar-free cookies for diabetics (not a gram of sugar, but you feel relieved that they ate cookies);
- snacks with rolls and sandwiches are replaced with fine sets of dried fruits , which are already sold in ready mixtures;
- We exclude canned food and smoked products - fat and preservatives also undermine the pancreas;
- desserts are replaced with fruits (you want a sweet one to eat a banana - let it be one of the sweetest fruits, but still there is less sugar in it than in a cup of good tea);
- about diet, tea and sugar in the blood - the daily sugar intake rate for potential "diabetics" is 1 tsp. (this applies to all dishes, fruits, vegetables, which you ate);
- As for white sugar - immediately replace it with brown (it is more expensive, that's the incentive to use it more accurately).
Brown sugar refers to complex carbohydrates ("good" sugar). It can not be eaten without restrictions, but it is a real savior during a diet for people with high blood sugar. Brown sugar is unrefined and unprocessed, it is digested slowly, which means that the pancreas will not need to make a march-throw for the urgent production of insulin. The same principle works with all the other carbohydrates: cereals , cereals, cereals - are welcome, but in uncleaned, unprocessed form (in other words: grains - you can, flakes - not).
